Well here is one of the easiest soup recipes on the planet. This is one of those recipes that you can serve up at a dinner party and everyone thinks you have spent hours preparing it, when in fact it took a very short time to put together. I believe that you can have the most luxurious dinner parties while spending very little time and money. Don’t tell anyone though, keep it a secret! I love to do all of my preparation before hand so I can actually enjoy the party too.

Salmon and Asparagus Soup

Ingredients:

I can cream of Asparagus Soup

1 Can Salmon

1 small carton of Pure Cream

Fresh Mint for decoration

Now:

All you have to do is take all the bones and skin off the salmon and then put it through a blender till it is smooth.

Put the cream of Asparagus soup into a pot with the water and the blended salmon. Mix till its combined.

Add the cream and heat without boiling.

Finish with a little fresh cracked pepper and sea salt and add a sprig of mint to each plate.

Enjoy!

Now how easy was that?

We seem to be eating more and more fish these days and the health experts say we should eat it at least 3 times per week. Even though fresh fish is expensive unless you can go catch it yourself, canned fish works just as well if you are looking to be more healthy. Canned Tuna and salmon lend themselves to being served in many different ways. I love that you can now get those tiny little cans of flavored Salmon and Tuna at the supermarket. They work great for kids lunches, on crackers or sandwiches and  they are a tasty little treat at the same time. Add some cream cheese to the salmon before you make sandwiches and you will find that they are not so messy to eat.

These oily fish really help to keep your joints healthy and the Omega 3 in them keeps the whole body healthy. If you find you are not getting the three serves of fish a week then get yourself some fish oil capsules and get the health benefits that way,
